Defibrillators (Parish)

In case of emergency, dial 999.

Blockley Parish Council has five community defibrillators throughout the parish. These are for public use on victims of sudden cardiac arrest (heart attack). In the unfortunate event that they are needed, we are keen that everyone knows their locations, how to access them and use them in advance.

These devices are accessible 24 hours a day. For security, a code is required to unlock the unit.  You will be told this code when you call the emergency services. Once switched on, the defibrillator will speak to you and has clear step by step instructions to guide you through its use.

If a defibrillator is required, phone 999 first and request an ambulance.

Blockley Parish Council is responsible for the ongoing costs of maintenance and the replacement of units. The equipment is checked regularly by our Maintenance Officer.
