Pension (Proof of Life) (Parish)

If you receive a pension from an overseas provider, it is likely you will be asked to provide proof that you are alive. This is normally an annual requirement.

Your pension provider should provide you with their official form which you need to complete. This normally requires an official stamp &/or signature to testify to the fact that you are alive. This is commonly referred to as a

  • Proof of Life Certificate
  • Certificate of Existence
  • Letter of Existence
  • Life Certificate

Although this sounds strange, this is part of the pension providers fraud prevention process.

If you need to provide proof of life, please feel free to contact the Parish Clerk on parishclerk@blockleyparish.gov.uk who will be happy to help.

In order to complete this, we will need to arrange a face to face meeting. You will also need to bring an original identification documentation – most providers require that this is a passport.
